  1. Location Permission (Approximate or Precise):

    • Purpose: Used locally for two features: (1) calculating device heading and magnetic orientation for the Compass feature, and (2) populating current GPS coordinates into SMS or messaging drafts when you choose to use the emergency "Send My Location" broadcast feature.
    • Data Handling: Location data is processed strictly on your device. We do not track location history, nor do we store, log, or transmit your GPS coordinates to our servers or any unauthorized third parties.

  2. Flashlight & Hardware Controls:

    • Purpose: The App requires access to the camera hardware solely to control the physical LED light for Torch, SOS, Strobe, Blink, and Police Light functions.
    • Data Handling: The App does not access your camera lens, capture photos, or record video files.

  3. Audio (Playback Only):

    • Purpose: Used solely to play audio files for the Siren feature.
    • Data Handling: The App does not access your microphone or record any sound.

  4. App Performance & Diagnostic Data:

    • Purpose: We may collect non-personal diagnostic metrics (such as crash logs, app responsiveness, and operating system version) through standard tools like Google Play Console to diagnose technical bugs and maintain app stability.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support ongoing maintenance and feature development, the App displays mobile advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. Data is only handled through third-party SDKs (such as Google AdMob) as disclosed above, or when strictly required by applicable legal obligations.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Because Power Flash SOS operates without user accounts and does not store personal profiles on external cloud servers, we do not maintain personal user databases. Advertising identifiers can be reset or removed directly through your Android device settings.

All network communications utilized by third-party advertising SDKs are encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
